The “Journal of Education, Innovation, and Communication (JEICOM)” is a biannual, fully double blind-reviewed,  open-access journal, without any costs related to publication, publishing articles from all areas of education, innovation and communication. JEICOM’s scope is to provide a free and open platform to academics, researchers, professionals, and postgraduate students to communicate and share knowledge in the form of high quality empirical and theoretical research that is of high interest not only for academic readers but also for practitioners and professionals.
JEICOM welcomes theoretical and empirical original research papers, case studies, book reviews that demonstrate the innovative and dynamic spirit for the education and communication sciences, from researchers, scholars, educators, policy-makers, and practitioners in education, communication, and related fields. Articles that show scholarly depth, breadth or richness of different aspects of social pedagogy are particularly welcome.
Our e-journal is open access, without any costs for the authors or the readers and all the intellectual property rights of the submitted papers remain with the author.  JEICOM endorses the Code of Conduct of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)   and follows a Publication ethics and malpractice statement.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. You can Share — Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially, under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). The use, distribution or reproduction is permitted, provided the original author(s) and the copyright owner(s) are credited and that the original publication in this journal is cited, in accordance with accepted academic practice. Please take the time to read and follow the instructions, as doing so will ensure your paper matches the journal’s requirements. We suggest that before any article is submitted, thorough proofreading by a native speaker English academic is undertaken. Especially academics that use English as a second language, need to have their articles edited and re-worked with the assistance of someone proficient in academic writing, as it is important that we maintain a professional level of English proficiency for our articles and journal.

All manuscripts should be written in English. Authors are strongly required to use the JEICOM-Full-Paper-Template  (also in pdf) provided for the final version of their papers.

-Peer-review Process

Once your paper has been assessed for suitability by the chief editors, it will be (at least) double-blind reviewed by independent, anonymous referees. We first have to check if the submission meets the basic requirements, and that it is original as well as if it includes characteristics such as correct use of English, abstract, keywords, references, structure, etc. When the originality and the other requirements are met, we recommend potential reviewers. The peer-review process takes place by at least two independent reviewers. The process is repeated in cases that the author(s) are asked to make changes.
Each reviewer completes a CONFIDENTIAL-Peer-Review, (also in pdf) which guarantees the confidentiality of the entire review process.
All authors have to submit a Publishing-Agreement (.doc) / Publishing-Agreement (.pdf) with their paper submission to confirm that the paper is an original work of the named author(s) and that neither the paper nor a similar research project has been published or considered for publication elsewhere, nor is it under review for possible publication at the time it is submitted to JEICOM. If it is the case, the paper will be automatically excluded from publication.

Additionally, authors agree to indemnify the journal for any possible costs or inconvenience it incurs for violation of any copyright interest in this paper and that only they are responsible for the material content of their publications. Any claim of forgery, fraud, copyright infringements, etc., are to be solely the responsibility of the authors.

Moreover, the corresponding author should respond to editorial queries respecting the deadlines. In the eventuality of not respecting the deadlines, JEICOM retains the right to refuse publication.
