After the organization of twelve (12) successful international conferences, workshops and seminaries (see previous conferences ), the 4th International Conference on Education (EDU2023)  provides an opportunity for academics, professionals, and industry experts from various fields, with cross-disciplinary interests, to discuss the future directives and innovations concerning Education.

With the perspective of examining future directions on education global challenges and tensions (post-pandemic situations, environmental crisis, wars and other global tensions), this conference calls for themes that will assist educators and learners alike to reflect on what we have learnt from our recent past, and how we will take these lessons learnt to shape the future of education for the generations to come. This conference provides a forum to share knowledge, consider how to adapt to current challenges and co-develop a sustainable path for a better future. We focus on themes promoting effective communication, access and equity, empathy, knowledge sharing and exchange, building resilience and devising possible solutions that will take educational practices into the future, despite the uncertainty that our learners face in this changing world.

This year’s conference, entitled ‘What will education be like? Future directions on global challenges and tensions on education”  will take place in paralel with the ICCM2023 conference, as we believe that educators in education and educators in communication, leadership, management, etc. has a lot to learn from each other.

Conference topics include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
Education skills and learning (related to innovation, virtual and augmented reality, education technology, online education, computer education, digital communication, Inequality in education). Education and technology (technology use in education, eg. the use of artificial intelligence). Arts Education and Communication (arts education permits academics and students to explore and express ideas through the art disciplines of performing and visual arts- music, dance, drama, architecture, sculpture, painting, literature, Film- and communicate better). Longevity and education (intergenerational relationships, technology, and longevity).

The Communication Institute of Greece (COMinG) was established in 2003 in France. Based in Greece since 2013, it is an independent academic association that has for mission to become a forum, where academics, researchers, professionals, and friends – from all over the world – can meet in Greece to exchange ideas on their research and to discuss future developments in their disciplines.
