How to become an Academic Member and Ambassador of the Institute?
The main purpose of becoming an Academic Member of the Communication Institute of Greece (COMinG) and participating in its International Conferences, is to create and keep links with the Institute and other academics around the world, collaborate, create events/conferences, and so forth. This is a way to exchange ideas, develop projects, and connect with people from different universities, cultural backgrounds, and ideas!
By paying the registration fee for participating in one of our conferences, you can become and a Member of this International Association without any additional fee.
To become an Academic Member please contact the President of the Institute, Dr. Margarita Kefalaki by email to email@example.com attaching a biographical note (no more than 300 words) with a photo of your (similar to our ACADEMIC MEMBERS )
Academic Members, among other things, can:
*become an Ambassador of the Institute,
*become a member of a conference scientific and organising committee,
*become a conference Leader,
*edit books with the help of the Institute (prior international experience with editing is required),
* become a reviewer of the journals/books, edited by the institute,
*organise mini-conferences or conference sessions of specific interest (as part of a more general conference),
*organise a new conference with the help of the Institute (need board’s approval),
* propose and become the leader of a new general conference (need board’s approval),
* organise other types of events, like seminars with specific themes (need board’s approval),
…we are always open to discussing other possibilities (collaborations, projects, etc.).
Please Note: to become an Academic Member, you need board’s approval.
Fees to become an Academic Member
-The application fee for a new academic member – conference participant (400 euro- needs board’s approval)
-Lifetime Member – Membership fee (2500 euro- needs board’s approval)
-Annual membership fee (20 euro)
NB: fees are non-refundable.
