Georgios I. Farantos is Associate Manager at the General Hospital of Argolida –management competence in Nafplion Nursing Unit (Greece). He holds a B.Sc. in Tecnology Education and Electrical Engineering, (1996) from Higher School of Vocational and Technical Education. He also holds a Dip.Ed. in Pedagogy and Instructional Technology (2002) from Higher Scholl of Pedagogical and Technical Education and a M.P.A. in Public Management from University of Peloponnese (2008). He is a Ph.D. Candidate in Strategic Management and Information Systems in Public Sector during the Economic Crisis period (Department of Political Science and Public Relations, University of Peloponnese, Korinthos, Greece). He has teached in the Hellenic secondary and postsecondary technical education, in the University of the Society and in occupational health and safety training. He has worked as an Occupational Health and Safety Inspector (Engineer) and Head of Department of Occupational Health and Safety in Arkadia and Argolida of Hellenic Labour Inspectorate (Greece) and as an Electrical Engineer in the Greek Army. His current research interests focus on Information Systems, Crisis Management, Decision Support Systems, Measure Efficiency methods and techniques, Strategic Information Systems Planning and Public Policy Analysis. He has presented papers in several congresses and International Journals about Business and Management.
