Emmanouil Takas is an instructor in a private college in Athens in the fields of Communication, Methodology of Research, Political Sciences and Sociology. He studied Political Sciences in Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universitaet in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, where he completed his first Master’s Degree in Comparative Politics and International Relations. His second Master’s Degree was completed in Open University of Cyprus in the Department of Communication and Journalism and his Ph.D. in Social Psychology in Panteion University, Greece.
His research interests include rhetoric analysis, framing, attribution theory, partisanship and identities, social representations and theories of social influence. He has published papers in international and national journals and has participated in numerous international and international conferences. He has published a monograph “Who’s to Blame? Attributing Causality and Cognitive Biases” that has been published by Advanced Media Institute, Cyprus.
