Dr. Arvind Sharma is primarily responsible for managing Learning and Teaching activities for all Engineering Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Associate Degree Qualifications within the School of Vocational Engineering, Health and Sciences, RMIT University Melbourne Australia. He is also a member of Academic Development Committee and University Appeals Committee of RMIT University.
He has been performing teaching and management role for over 25 years and also has 4 years industrial experience in the wider engineering/science area. Arvind is also managing Engineering programs (Aeronautical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Systems and Telecommunications) for the last six years. He is Cisco Certified Instructor and has trained Instructors and students in Australia and Pacific Islands. Arvind was chair of Technical Advisory Committee (Electronics and Computer Systems) and member of National Training Advisory Group (Electrotechnology) constituted by ElectroComms and Energy Utilities Industry Skills Council (e-OZ Industry Skills Council). He also chaired Engineers Australia (EA) Accreditation panel visits to Institutes across Australia. Arvind is senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for the last 15 years.
