Dr Arup Barman is an Associate Professor of Economics and Human Resource Management at the Assam University (A Central University, Silchar) India. He holds the Ph. D. from Assam University (2007) with a Major in Human Resource Management. He is a recipient of post doctoral research grant from UGC, India for 2009-2011, a commerce graduate (M.Com, 1995-96), a Diploma Holder of Training and Development from ISTD (2000), New Delhi. He is teaching MBA for 16 years and delivered invited lectures at more than 50 numbers of institutes in India. He has published more than 100 articles in scholarly international journals in the areas of Human Resource Management and Economics and attended and participated 25 numbers of international seminars. In 2011, he was awarded the Best Professor Award by MTC-Global; in 2013 he was awarded as the Best Professor Award from Association for Scientist, Developers and Faculties-Global (ASDF-Global). Dr. Barman is recipient of Best Reviewer Award (2011) conferred by Journal of Management Science managed by Non Olympic Times (NOT) under International Nobel Peace Prize Recommendation Forum (INPPRF). He is a Fellow of World Business Institute (F-WBI), Australia; a Fellow Chartered Educator (FCE) on 15th Feb, 2012 (received as Honoris-Causa Fellowship) issued by CCLP Worldwide under the Academic Treaty signed with Consortium of Universities Euro-American (CUE). He is also holding a post of Director (in-charge) of Centre for East Asian Business Studies (CEABS) of Assam University, Silchar (India). He is associating with numbers of International Journal or Repute as a member of editorial board and as a reviewer.
